Street performance
Is a street dance solo that creates a dialogue between the earth and the body, between what takes root and what transforms, between search and rest. The performance is inspired by the dry-stone technique, an identifying element of the Pyrenees and the traditional architecture of our country. The stones, like living bones drawn from the earth, become the foundations of a continuous construction, rising and transforming, driven by a vital force that compels the search for a space in which to dwell.
In this way, dry stone structures the piece in three dimensions: as an architectural and scenic element, as living matter and metaphor in the construction of collective identities, and as a living symbol of a historical and cultural legacy. Foc i lloc is thus an exploration of belonging and the creation of one’s own place: an organism that not only shelters the body but also defines it.
